Mark P. Lebeis. M.D., F.A.C.C., received his medical degree from  the University of Michigan in 1980. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital (Harvard Teaching Hospital) Boston in 1983. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in 1985.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases with additional subspecialty certification in Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

He maintains active staff privileges at St. John Providence Hospital, Southfield; St. John Providence Park Hospital, Novi; William Beaumont, Royal Oak; and St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Livonia, and Botsford Hospital, Farmington Hills.

He is actively involved as a teacher of Wayne State University medical students, Providence Hospital Family Practice, and Internal Medicine residents and Cardiology fellows.

Dr. Lebeis’ professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Michigan Society of Echocardiography, Detroit Heart Club and the American Society of Echocardiography.

He joined Consultants in Cardiology in 1995 and is the current director of Echocardiography.

His special interests include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, dyslipidemia (cholesterol management), and adult congenital heart disease.
